There are very few things that are easy to move and pack. If you don’t take care of it, it can be damaged or lost, which can lead to a real headache. Tony sat for a while before h3 moved. I don’t know where else to begin… He spent a whole day summarizing these strategies to help people pack and organize their belongings. Don’t miss this opportunity to help you move.

1. Separate items

2. List packing list

3. Preparation of packing tools

4. Packing principle

5. Method of packing

6. Take care

1. Get rid of  unwanted items

Moving costs can be reduced by disposing of unwanted items. You can get rid of clothes that haven’t been worn in 3 months, old electrical appliances, and all other decorations that were bought on impulse. It’s okay to deal with it. Moving costs will increase if you think “keep it for now” or “this should be used later”.

Use a second-hand trading platform to get rid of old clothing and appliances.  You should do this in advance trading takes time.

2 Make a packing list

Make a list of all the items you need to pack before packing.

Kitchen: pots, bowls, condiments…

Bedroom: bed, quilt, desk, clothes…

Restroom: Toiletries, towels, toothbrushes…

3. Preparation and use of packaging tools

Make sure you have enough cardboard boxes, storage containers on wheels, a vacuum compression bag, ziplock bag, drawstring pockets, plastic bag, sealing tape, and bubble wrap. Also, keep newspaper (or old clothes, or advertising paper) along with a utility knife and marker pen.

4. Packaging principles

Each item is packaged according to its usage and frequency. The items in the box can also be marked with a marker, label paper, or a pen so that they can be quickly restored once they arrive at their new homes. Take the bedroom, for example. The bedding can be labeled as bed 1-bedding and the more frequently worn clothes as bed 2-work clothes. All other items can be packed according to their order so that you can rest easily after the move. Multiple boxes can be too energy-consuming to open.

The bottom is for heavy items, while the top is for lighter items.

You should pack items that you use frequently first, such as toiletries, a few hours before you move.

It is best to seal the box in a “well-shaped” manner when sealing it with tape. This will ensure that it is strong and won’t be easily broken.

All fragile items must be marked on the outside of their boxes “fragile”.

5. Method for efficient  packing

Kitchen Supplies

1. Refrigerator

Before moving, unplug the plug and defrost it to remove moisture. Then, turn it on after 2 hours. To prevent the refrigerator from opening during transport, seal it with tape.

2. Small appliances, such as juicers and ovens, are also available.

All items must be packed in original packaging.

3. Pots and knives

Use the original packaging if there is one. Wrap it in a newspaper from the bottom up. To pass the pot, use a rope and create a crisscross. Secure the wrap.

4. Tableware

First, wrap the tableware in newspaper and then fold it over to place in the box. To prevent any collisions during handling or breakage, the space left should be filled with bubble wrap. Before packing fragile items, wrap them in bubble wrap.

5. Bottles

Wrap the carton in the newspaper, bubble wrap, or clothing, and place it in the carton. To prevent bottles from breaking because of vibration, you can stuff the gaps with newspapers or old clothes.

6. Frozen food

Wrap the frozen food in plastic bags and place it in a box filled with dry ice. It is best to eat it as soon as you are able.

Living Room Furniture

1. TV

Use the original packaging if it is available. Use bubble film to bond the screen, then tie it with tape.

2. Sofa coffee table

Special materials sofas can be covered with bubble film, then taped to stop bumps in handling.

The same goes for the coffee table.

3. Sundries

The storage box with wheels will be used. It is very easy to use. Xiaoji already owns five of these boxes at home. It’s used for storing items and can be used to help you save time and effort when moving. It is important to only buy soft glue. Hard glue can easily be broken when you move.

For easy searching, small or fragmented items and tools can be incorporated into ziplock bags.

4. Bags and shoes

Shoes can be covered with shower caps, shoe covers, or drawstring pockets. This is something Kat learned from fellow travel bloggers. Make sure that the shoe covers and shower caps are the same shapes as the shoes. Also, make sure all shoes are properly packed. To prevent shoes from deforming, make sure you stuff some newspaper inside the shoes.

You can place the bag in the suitcase and cover it with clothes. Close the box.

Bedroom Supplies

1. Bedroom, wardrobe

If it is possible to disassemble it, you can take it apart. To make it easier to install, the smaller parts should be removed and placed in a zippered bag. To facilitate installation, you can tape small pieces to the furniture.

If the furniture is difficult to disassemble, remove all pieces and clean up. Lock it if it is possible. To avoid any bumps in transportation, secure the cabinet door using rope or tape if it is not possible to lock.

2. Dresser

Wrap the mirror in bubble wrap and tie it with tape. Label the fragile object.

3. Clothing and quilts

It can be compressed using vacuum compression bags and then packaged separately.

Hanging compression bags are great for clothes that can’t be folded.

Socks, accessories, etc. You can group them together in a zippered Ziplock Bag.

4. Books

It is best to pack it in small boxes. The recommended size is 430*320*280mm, 350*280*260mm, or 350*280*260mm. Remember to add 5 layers to your order. Do not make the box too big. Otherwise, it will become very heavy and difficult to move.

Bubble wrap can be used to wrap the boxes. Wrap about ten copies of each one and bundle them. The packaging cost is low and you can adjust the quantity to suit your tolerance.

Do not use a suitcase. It will cause damage and it will be impossible to move.

5. Computer

You can simply pack it with a computer and fill the box with bubble wrap. Before packing, label the computer in the outer box.

6. Painting

You can use a utility knife or a sharp knife to make three stripes on each side of the paper bag. The scroll can then be attached to both sides of your bag for transport.

Toilet Supplies

1. Washing machine

After ensuring that drainage is clear, tie the water outlet pipe to the fuselage with tape.

2. Toiletries

They can leak if the toiletries aren’t used up. After they have been fastened, you can wrap them with stretch film and pack them vertically to prevent leakage.

You can pack towels, toothbrushes, and other items in ziplock bags or fresh-keeping bags. These bags are both clean and hygienic.

3. Cosmetics

To prevent the loss of cosmetics can be placed in zippered ziplock bags and cosmetic bags. Smaller and more scattered cosmetic products can be bundled directly with stretch film.

4. Mops, Toilet brushes, etc.

You can wrap it with stretch film, then place it in a bucket.
